Hardwood Floor Install

I have to say from start to finish amazing guys. We had a few delays as the owner was sick for a few days but he sent out his crew to start doing prep work. They put down a heavy paper and taped it to the floor to keep the dirt at minimum. That was unexpected. They closed the door while grinding and put plastic over the closet doors and the fire alarm to keep dust from forming on my clothes. They went right to work no wasted time. I was more that happy when the job was completed The floor looks amazing! Thank you guys for a awesome job. I would hire these guys again without hesitation! They offered to put my molding up, but I did that just after they left! Again Thank you Guys you did amazing work!

Josue and his crew came and tiled my bath floor and installed wood in three bedrooms, flawless! His price was very reasonable left the place super clean, I will use him again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Experience with 5A Flooring — Highly Recommend! We recently took on a pretty substantial flooring project in our home, and after reaching out to several local contractors for bids, 5A Flooring and its owner, Josue, were an easy choice from the very beginning. From our first conversation, it was clear that Josue really knows his business. He was knowledgeable, personable, professional, and genuinely customer-service oriented. To top it off, his pricing was extremely fair and competitive compared to the other bids we received. Our project came with a unique challenge. We had existing travertine tile throughout our main living areas, kitchen, and bathroom, with a rental unit directly beneath our home. One of our biggest priorities was reducing sound transmission between the two units, as the hard travertine wasn’t doing our downstairs tenants any favors. Josue went above and beyond to help us find the right solution. He took the time to research products, work with his vendors, and help us select a quality sound-reducing underlayment paired with beautiful luxury vinyl plank flooring—all at a very reasonable cost. The combination has made a noticeable difference in sound transmission, and the finished floors look absolutely amazing! Throughout the entire project, Josue and his crew were punctual, professional, and incredibly hardworking. His team members, Alex and Max, were fantastic—friendly, respectful, detail-oriented, and clearly took pride in their work. They completed the entire project in less than a week, and the results exceeded our expectations. What impressed me most wasn’t just the finished product, but the level of care, communication, and attention we received throughout the process. It’s refreshing to work with a contractor who genuinely cares about both the quality of his work and the people he’s working for. As a local Realtor, I regularly have clients, friends, and family asking for trustworthy contractors. Josue and 5A Flooring have absolutely earned my confidence and future referrals. If you’re looking for an honest, knowledgeable, hardworking flooring contractor who delivers exceptional results at a fair price, look no further than 5A Flooring. Thank you, Josue, Alex, and Max, for a job exceptionally well done!

Josue and his crew at 5A Flooring did an outstanding job installing hardwood flooring throughout our home. From the very beginning to the completion of the project, Josue was professional, communicative, and thorough. He took the time to explain the entire installation process to us and kept us informed every step of the way. What impressed us most was the care and respect he and his crew showed for our home. They treated it as if it were their own, carefully covering and protecting everything that could potentially be affected by dust or the installation process—including door frames, light fixtures, AC vents, window shutters, and other areas throughout the house. Their attention to cleanliness and detail was exceptional. The quality of the installation was truly outstanding. The hardwood flooring, baseboards, and trim work were all completed beautifully. However, what impressed me the most was the craftsmanship on the stairs. The attention to detail was incredible, and the finished result exceeded our expectations. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for anything better—it was simply perfect. We received quotes from a total of five different installers, and Josue's pricing was very fair and reasonable considering the amount and quality of work completed. In our experience, the value we received from 5A Flooring was exceptional. Another unexpected highlight was hearing gospel music playing while they worked. It brought such a peaceful and positive atmosphere to the house. We later discovered that we attend the same church in Oceanside, OCC, which made the experience even more special. We feel very fortunate to have found an installer who is honest, dependable, punctual, and takes genuine pride in his work. There were no shortcuts, and his equipment and workmanship were top-notch. His craftsmanship is truly second to none. We highly recommend Josue and his crew at 5A Flooring to anyone looking for high-quality flooring installation. They exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be happier with the results!

Awesome job, turned out great!

The owner takes pride in his work and did an excellent job of prepping & installing laminate & base boards. He had to start a day late due to another project that went long, but he made up for it by staying late & working on a Saturday. The final result looks great!

We can't recommend Josue at 5A Flooring highly enough. From the very beginning he was kind, honest, and clearly really knew his stuff. This was our first house and our first big repair job, so we were honestly pretty nervous going in. But from the moment Josue took over, that worry just went away. We knew we were in good hands. We had a tight deadline and he worked so hard to get everything done, and never cut corners to do it. Even though we weren't able to be there in person much, he kept us in the loop the whole time, constantly sending photos and updating us on the progress and anything we needed to know. That meant the world to us, especially not being local. He even went out of his way to water some of our plants that were struggling in the heat, which honestly tells you everything about the kind of person he is. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, skilled, and genuinely good to work with, Josue is your guy. Highly recommend!

Josue installed a new floor in our bedroom. We had a specific type of floor that Josue doesn’t normally supply, but he worked with us so that we ordered the floor and he installed. From quoting to doing the work, he completed everything on time and to a great quality. Thank you!

We were looking to have a large area of our LVP flooring, that had been improperly installed, removed and replaced correctly. We were quoted by numerous flooring contractors. Josue was the only person to give us reasonable insight into what was wrong and what it would take to fix properly. All throughout the process he communicated timely and clearly about everything. His workmanship was excellent. He and his team did everything they said they would do and they left the repaired area looking better than the rest of our house. He was also very detailed and made all of the finishing touches to make the new flooring look great. We would hire Josue again any time! (Sorry for the delay in the review!)

Josue and his team was a dream crew to work with. They came to install wood flooring in a home we purchased. From the start to finish, from coming to give an estimate to following through will all the work to put the finishing touches at the very end, Josue was professional, timely and courteous. He communicated well and was super responsive to all my questions. Above all, he did great work and I am thoroughly satisfied with the result. Would recommend him to anyone.

We had a great experience with 5A Flooring from start to finish. They removed our existing flooring and installed new flooring quickly and efficiently. Josue was fantastic—his communication was excellent, he showed up on time every day, and he was extremely professional throughout the entire process. The job was done faster than we expected, and the quality of work was top-notch. Highly recommend 5A Flooring and Josue if you’re looking for reliable, high-quality flooring work!

Josue and his helper repaired engineered wood floors in 2 different rooms in our home. They also replaced a stair riser on our wood stairs. The work done was excellent. They moved and protected our furniture before starting and we're very respectful of our home. His route was fair and he made sure that we were completely satisfied with his work.

We were very pleased with the work Josue completed for us. He installed the flooring, tile-and baseboards and was very professional and thorough. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for flooring and tile work. Great experience with a true professional.

We are so happy with our new floors! Josue and his team did such an amazing job — hardworking, reliable, and really went above and beyond. They worked long hours to get everything done, were flexible with our schedule, and handled any little hiccups along the way with ease. He also gave us the most honest and helpful advice throughout the process. You can tell they take real pride in their work — the craftsmanship and attention to detail are incredible. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them!

We had an amazing experience with Josue from 5A Flooring. He was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, keeping us informed every step of the way. The quality of his work was outstanding, not a single detail missed. But what stood out most was his integrity. Josue never tried to push us toward something we didn’t want (his professional opinion was aligned to our vision throughout the entire process) and he treated our home like it was his own. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend 5A Flooring to anyone looking for honest, high-quality craftsmanship.

Super glad we went with Josue to install our Vinyl floors. He was very easy to communicate with, able to accommodate our schedule, gave great recommendations, worked quickly, was professional, and even moved my extremely heavy fish tank. Our floors look great and we’re so happy with them and the process! Highly recommend Josue 😊
